Promoting Literacy and Community at the Secret Pals Scholarship Breakfast
Boley, June 1st – Our chapter proudly attended the Secret Pals Scholarship Breakfast, an event dedicated to supporting education and community growth. This year, we had the honor of sponsoring 16 Boley residents, furthering our commitment to educational opportunities for all.
In addition to our sponsorship, we distributed 24 copies of the inspiring book, Goodnight Racism, to attendees. The initiative aimed to encourage families to read together, fostering both literacy and important conversations about equality and understanding. The response from parents and grandparents was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing excitement and gratitude for receiving the book.
Our participation in the Secret Pals Scholarship Breakfast underscores our ongoing dedication to community engagement and support. We believe in the power of education and the impact of coming together to celebrate and uplift each other.
